the last day of 2o1o.

If I’m being honest, 2010 was good – not great. Don’t get me wrong, we did and saw many wonderful things together. It was our first married year. We celebrated dear friend’s engagements, weddings and the births of babies. There were definitely high notes. But, there were definitely low notes. We lost our dear Sydney. We learned first hand too many times that death is a part of life. The year was filled with work challenges for both Danny and me. We soul searched. We accomplished some goals and left others lingering on the list. We’re ready for 2011. I have a feeling it’s going to be a tough one to beat.
One of the best things about 2010 was the way we ended it. It was an all day-all night affair with some of our dearest friends – Colby & Jake, Dan & Shmer and their perfect little Dyllan. The day started with brunch and mimosas by the marina in Newport Beach which were followed by margaritas on the Peninsula before we headed back to Colby & Jake’s house to ring in the new year. More on that soon…
