goin’ out island style in st. thomas.

we celebrated matt dewey’s birthday island-style last week. after a day at magen’s bay, we headed downtown to mojo’s rum & surf shack for painkillers on swings (a great way to sit at the bar), gambling at a local casino, hundreds of wings at hooters (don’t ask, we were starving and the painkillers were really starting to kick-in) and then ended the night with a serious dance party at a local outdoor club. the club’s dance party was the most fun i’ve had in a long time. in fact, when everyone was walking to the cab, colby and i grabbed each other’s hands and bolted for the dance floor for just a couple more songs (we were eventually dragged off the floor by our friends). it’s a big old wonderful blur of a night. hope you had a happy birthday, hot rod. we sure had fun celebrating your day.
